Hardware Maintenance

End of Original Warranty (EOW)

STG offers a simpler and less expensive alternative to extended warranties with maintenance agreements that provide fast, efficient service and use the highest-quality replacement parts and OEM repair manuals.

End of Service Life (EOSL)

We service equipment that has reached or exceeded manufacturers' designated end of life, postponing or eliminating the cost and disruption of replacing productive equipment. As with EOW equipment maintenance, we provide all replacement parts and use OEM repair manuals and best practices to keep all IT equipment-regardless of its status-at peak performance.

OS and Software Support

Signature Technology Group provides operating system and software support fully coordinated with hardware maintenance services, including OS platforms and products for:

STG offers a single-point solution for integrating hardware and software support across manufacturers. We plan and execute upgrades and migrations to minimize downtime and use proactive diagnosis and active patch management to prevent software issues before they arise.

We also offer software life-cycle management, including scheduled patch deployment and firmware updates, ensuring customers' equipment is always up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and application requirements. We can support software on site or remotely with three avenues of remote software support:

Dedicated VPN access from our Phoenix, AZ data center and virtual workstations to the customer's equipment:

For instances where we have management responsibility for the data center, we are able to continuously monitor systems and interactively respond to issues. Our VPN equipment is a Cisco Security Appliance, consistently upgraded and maintained to ensure our network is always secure.

Temporary remote access:

For instances where customer equipment or software requires only periodic intervention, we establish a tunnel connection with a secure shell protocol on a per-session basis. This ensures that the customer's data is secure as it crosses the network, the customer can monitor each remote session, and that our representatives require new credentials each time they access the customer's system. The workstations we use for remote access are Linux-based with limited Internet access, preventing any unauthorized infiltration or compromise.

Phone support:

For instances where the customer has the technical resources available in-house to communicate and work with our representative, we can provide phone support for issue diagnosis and resolution.

Field Replaceable Units (FRUs)

STG proactively stocks field replaceable units and other parts for repair and upgrade and can maintain stock of key parts at customers' sites, send parts for installation by the customer's IT resources, or have our technicians bring parts as needed. We specialize in using FRUs to maximize the life and productivity of customers' equipment.

Preventative Maintenance

Through remote network monitoring, active OS and software patch management, and scheduled system reviews and maintenance, STG can spot impending problems and resolve them before they impact operations or productivity. We work closely with the customer to identify critical systems and implement appropriate preventative maintenance plans.

24/7 On-Call Support

STG maintains a 24/7, US-based Service Desk. Our highly-trained staff are able to quickly and accurately capture and assess details to determine the exact technical expertise required, and we constantly adapt our Service Desk to meet current technology, call volume, and systems diversity.

We also offer customizable Service Desk assistance, from a dedicated, fully-staffed desk at our location to staffing or augmenting the customer's desk at theirs.
