Charles Layne serves as President for Signature Technology Group, Inc., responsible for the execution of STG's global business, while developing STG's forward moving strategy through the constantly changing landscape of the IT industry. Charles is a seasoned IT executive who joined STG in February of 2011, coming from Microsoft where he held senior leadership roles within the solution sales organization. He started his IT career as a consultant for IBM, and then joined Insight Enterprises, where he served as an officer while running their Small and Medium Business division, as well as their Software Solutions Sales division.
Charles' background has been focused on driving sales, strategic planning, business and channel development, and delivering variable work force staffing models. He is a recognized leader in the IT industry with a keen understanding of the marketplace, with an emphasis on service delivery models that focus on the client experience.
Charles is a native of Arizona and received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University. In addition, he holds a Global Leadership Certificate from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Technology Council, as well as the Board of Directors for the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA. Charles had previously served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Blind and Deaf Children's Foundation.
