Meet Our Management Team
Charles Layne
President and Chief Executive Officer
Charles Layne serves as the Chief Executive Officer for
Signature Technology Group, Inc., responsible for the
execution of STG's global business, while developing STG's
forward moving strategy through the constantly changing landscape
of the IT industry. Charles is a seasoned IT executive who
joined STG in February of 2011, coming from Microsoft where he held
senior leadership roles within the solution sales organization. He
started his IT career as a consultant for IBM, and then
joined Insight Enterprises, where he served as an officer
while running their Small and Medium Business division, as
well as their Software Solutions Sales division.
Charles' background has been focused on driving sales, strategic
planning, business and channel development, and delivering variable
work force staffing models. He is a recognized leader in the IT
industry with a keen understanding of the marketplace, with an
emphasis on service delivery models that focus on the client
experience.
Charles is a native of Arizona and received
his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State
University. In addition, he holds a Global Leadership Certificate
from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has
previously served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona
Technology Council, as well as the Board of Directors for Arizona
Blind and Deaf Children's Foundation.
Aaron Zeper
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Aaron Zeper serves as the Vice President of Sales &
Marketing at STG. During his career he has had a variety of
leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. He
has been in the technology sales industry for the past 12 years,
working in both Direct and Channel sales organizations.
For the first 7 years of his career, he worked for Direct
Alliance Corporation creating and leading Direct Sales Teams and
Programs for IBM, Computer Associates, IBM Software, and Microsoft.
The client sets included SMB, Mid‐Market, Large Enterprise, and
Public Sector and were focused on Demand Generation, Solution
Sales, and Account Management. During this time Aaron moved
overseas to Ireland in a consulting capacity to assist IBM with
their EMEA Direct Sales organization. Aaron moved to Insight to
lead the Eastern Region SMB Telesales team, selling the full IT
portfolio of Hardware, Software, and Services; and quickly
transitioned to lead numerous field sales organizations including
Public Sector, SMB, and Software Solutions.
For the past two years Aaron has been responsible for the
Insight Microsoft business and partnership including the strategy
and execution of all Microsoft technologies, license types,
services, and client segments. He was a valued member of the
Microsoft Infrastructure Partner Advisory Council, as well as the
Microsoft Partner Engagement Board. Aaron earned his Bachelor of
Science Degree in Finance from Arizona State University.
Stephen K. McEvoy
Vice President, Solution Development
Steve McEvoy joined the STG team as the Vice President of
Operations in October 2007. In his present position, he holds
global responsibility for all sales and operations service delivery
to clients and also assists the corporation as a member
of the management board.
Steve has over 25 years of experience in wide-ranging
corporate management and operational roles. He joined STG from
Symco Corporation, a leading service provider in the IP Banking
sector, and has enjoyed success in major third-party IT hardware
resale's, outsourcing management, disaster recovery services, and
portfolio administration. His previous industry roles include
VP Marketing of Global Services Inc. and various management
positions with Partners Capital Group of Scottsdale, AZ and Unisys
Corporation of Blue Bell, PA. Steve has a BS of Operations
Management from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Mary Pearsall
Vice President, Client Service and
Delivery
Mary Pearsall joined STG in February of 2006 as the Director of
Eastern Operations. As a member of the STG leadership
team, Mary is responsible for the service delivery, functions,
processes and people in the operations organization, including
quality management and IT supplier relationships.
Prior to her current position at STG, Mary's career has spanned
over 25 years in the IT field with most recent responsibility at
EDS leading the North American Hardware Maintenance Initiative for
EDS/GM Manufacturing. She also held various roles supporting
industrial, commercial, government and health care organizations
during her tenure as an IT management consultant with Plante Moran.
Mary holds a BBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Lou Pachuilo
Vice President, Finance and Compliance
Lou Pachuilo joined STG in 2007 and leads the company's
finance and accounting operations. He has over 25 years of
experience in finance and accounting with technology, manufacturing
and international consulting companies, bringing a diverse and
vital perspective to the financial and organizational management of
STG.
As part of the executive team, Lou has been instrumental in
providing financial and operational guidance in the development and
implementation of STG's growth and risk management strategy. Lou
has a wide range of experience as a financial systems consultant
with Oracle, Microsoft and Sage ERP and CRM systems. This
experience has helped STG establish a sound BI foundation for
accurate, timely and meaningful operational and financial
metrics. Lou holds a MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global
Management and a BSBA from the University of Arizona.
